Hi Bob,

To me, the corrected versions look much better.

Hi Jim,

The first image, "Snag View", which is where the link in my original email
takes you to, has no distortion, tilted verticals or otherwise, that I can
discern; the two dead trees were tilted toward the center of the image. I
may have had the lens pointed a bit downward, but at almost level and 50mm,
it's pretty close to what it looked like. The "Snag Silhouette" was up a
cliff about 50m, so there must be some distortion in there. Not much I can
do for that one..

The last two images in the series definitely have perspective distortion.
I've "fixed" this as best as possible for these 2 images. Better? (I left
the original postings next to them).

Thanks very much for the feedback. Let me know if I'm understanding you
correctly and if you think the changes are better or worse or the image
should be edited out...

Bob,

I detect what appear to be tilted verticals in the first two images of the
series, and what I would call perspective distortion in the final image,
where the trees appear to converge toward the center. Maybe its just me.

Hi Jim,
Do you mean the next to last and last images? Or are there others you're
referring to?
Thanks,
Bob

Bob,

Great exposures. The first, second and last images bother me because of
tilt
or distortion. I can understand some of this with WA shots, but I think
you
could correct a lot of it. Just my 2 cents.

Couple of snag shots followed by yesterdays images from Tuolomne Meadows
up on the Tioga Pass road, northern rim of Yosemite.
