Hi Brian, you are right about the threads ! Can I take my negs,and have them 
scanned to a CD in order to share photo`s with other Leica enthusiasts on 
the web ?

There is a lot of thread in Nottingham and in Leeds, and I think there are 
some good threads in Savile Row.

Seriously, though: I'm not sure why you need to care what a thread is here 
on the LUG. What problem are you actually trying to solve?
