The real question is whether the high, fixed-priced stuff actually sells. I still find the best deals are on the LUG's Friday FS posts--and I'd be far more inclined to trust a fellow LUGger than an anonymous store halfway around the world. Now most Leica items are listed at very high "buy it now" prices from "power seller" big dealers",mostly located in Hongkong , Japan or Los Angeles.
