Subject: [Leica] [img] Mark's PAW Week 32. Bible, Inglesham church
Photographically, last week was a huge success.? I had several days where I
was able to get out and about and take pictures.? For a change, I managed
get quite a few keepers, so will be busy processing images when time and
inclination allow...
Last Monday I visited St John The Baptist Church in the village of
Inglesham.? The church is no longer used for worship but is still
consecrated.? I spent a very peaceful, happy three hours there looking for
things to photograph.
To this week's PAW.? It was taken with an M8 and 50mm Summicron lens.
Exposure was 1/2 sec and I used a tripod - which I know is anathema to
many!? I metered the scene with a hand-held meter, taking a incident
reading.? It's post-processed in Photoshop CS2, and I've used the Alien
Skin? plugin to replicate HP5 plus and a war/selenium tone effect. Other?
than a slight modification to curves and contrast, it's pretty much as-is.

I hope you like it.
For me, it just sums up the solitude and tranquility I felt when I visited
this place.? I will be returning...
All the best
Mark
