Subject: [Leica] Small and cheap BMWs

BMWs were not always big, heavy and fast. These photos were taken at the BMW
factory in South Carolina.

This is the first BMW Roadster that could be correctly called a sports car.
It had approximately the performance of a 1950 Volkswagen.

The Bubble Car was invented by Isetta but BMW secured the manufacturing
rights and refined it. Easy to find a parking place.

The Bubble Car had recreational uses too. How about RVing on the cheap?
