Glad to hear you're excursion into used-M8 territory had a happier ending than mine and that you're learning to live with the "guilt"! I tried to make the same move -- bought a used M8 -- but sadly the seller was trying to pull a fast one, as it had the well-known, infamous vertical line issue (a defective sensor). It took several weeks of wrangling to get the issue resolved. The files were very nice for the few days I had with it, though: it did a great job with my Zeiss, CV, and even old Canon lenses.
