Look inside an M6 or Mp or M7. What does it look like? A clockwork camrea. Look inside a M8. What does it look like? A computer. The Leica M8 was the Leica D1. It was the UR Leica digital. (1914) Or maybe the Leica O digital. (1923) Considering they had little clue what they were getting into they did a fine job. And they kept the price of Leica glass up. And they kept a lot of people still shooting Leica. But with the M9 they are now doing serious business. We do need the M9s though 12 MP's not 18. And higher isos. Mark William Rabiner
