Canon is my stop gap measure so I can use all my Leica R glass. I was really thinking of the Nikon 400 so that when it finally sinks into my little brain that there will be no real R solution from Leica I could then use the glass on a Nikon DSLR, which is probably the route I would take. So, I really should look at used Canon glass, too. I do like manual focusing and I have become pretty adept as the stop down metering of my R glass on my Canon, even with the darn exposure problems as you stop down. I'll have to research how far back I can go with Canon glass before I might need an adapter, if one exists for the real old stuff. That said, anybody know about an Olympus 400/4.5? How it is? And thanks to all who have replied thusfar.
