I was asked to take pictures of the Dog Club that Charlie and I go to, so
last week I took along the M8 with WATE, Elmarit 24, 35 Lux and Noctilux. I
was tired and forgot there was AUTO-ISO so I just used ISO 320 and 640 which
turned out OK apart from faster-moving subjects. They are celebrating 50
years of the village hall and all the things that go on in it. The lighting
is fluorescent and reflected on the polished floor, a challenge. Charlie is
well-trained to sit when I'm taking pictures. Being a club member and
having a flashless camera really helped with not intruding. Here are the
ones they decided to use:

I put my best ones on a LUG gallery and sent the link to the Rampton website
manager who has improved them for me. I had to trade off getting them
published quickly against spending a long time on them. Here are my
originals:

Would anyone good at Photoshop be able to tell me how they made the
improvements? Charlie sends greetings to Tikwa...

Best wishes, Matthew
