Subject: [Leica] IMGs: Bugatti Schmugatti - now: tires, michelin et al.

Slobodan, how did you get Michelins to slide? My experience was - you 
couldn't, at least on the first "X's". I raced a TR-3 in SCCA back in the 
late 1950's, threw out the original Dunlop Gold Seals - awful tires except 
for highway cruising - and tried Michelins, then the 'hot' new tire. I found 
I couldn't drift with them. the grip was so tenacious that they held on 
until the point at which you lost grip entirely - and you were gone. I wound 
up using - and loving - Pirelli Stelvios.
