It vignettes on my 1.3 crop 1DIIn. It's effectively about 16-24 without the hood, 17-24 with. OTOH with the hood it blocks a rough-edged rectangle around the frame, which is a nice sort of faux-vintage effect which I've used a few times... To be honest mine's not really sharp until f8, and the color fringing is very much there. It's okay for newspaper and web shooting, which is most of what I do with digi, but I wouldn't even consider it for anything more demanding. It's a $400 lens, and not a penny more.
