I Am always able to get hold o a machine 24/7/365 if I have a breakdown and I have been able to run with the fastest processors and ram etc. for a lot less than my colleagues using mac's. Over the years I have saved at least 40.000 USD by working with PCs and since the NT system came I have had a working environment that was a stabile as required - XP the same - I skipped Vista but will implement WIN7 in 2010 I find Mac's interface flimsy and the windows wannabe mac-interface worse - Since we have hard drives as many as the letters in the alphabet I use the old winfile filemanager to overview all the drives and that works much better and safer I would not waste my money on mac - I get much more bang for the buck using PC's ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robert D. Further, speaking agnostically, I will report that I've used PC desktops and laptops for many years but I am now in the 4th week of traveling out of the last 6 weeks and I have been using my new 15.4" Macbook Pro and I could not be happier with it. --Bob On Sun, Dec 6, 2009 at 6:53 AM, Doug Herr <wildlightphoto at earthlink.net> wrote: > Tina Manley wrote: > >>I have done nothing for the last two weeks but compare and contrast Macs >>and Windows machines on every website I can find.
