Will you show us pictures that you found are > intrinsically interesting (even if your definition of interesting > differs from mine), or will it be "OMG, look at how tack sharp this > MK1D+Ludariux is!!!"? Oh, I got bored with the latter years ago. Or rather, I'll stare at such pictures when I'm shopping for equipment, and I'll take a few technogeek pictures from time to time to familiarize myself with how the equipment works so I'll know what to expect of it in the field, but that stuff's unlikely to get posted (except, yes, I have a little sub-gallery on the LUG gallery set aside for the occasional times I dip into a discussion of, say, the difference between tiny-sensor point'n'shoots and bigger-sensor cameras, or "how come this attempt at stitching looks like poop"), but that's not the usual thing. Honest! I usually post things publicly if (1) I just plain like the photograph; or (2) I expect people to be interested in my coverage of an event or the people there. It's great when the two collide, but my standards for (2) are more lax than for (1)... although what will catch my fancy isn't entirely predictable, and doesn't always involve technical perfection. I'm more likely to mention class-(1) things here on the LUG, but sometimes I'll say something about a classs-(2) snap. And sometimes, though it wasn't taken as a technical sample, I'll pop up a reference to something class-(2) if I feel it happens to illustrate some point about equipment I saw being discussed. -Jeff
