Be careful of what you wish for!

I agree tho' that having friends and family who are not photographically 
savy say that they LOVE your work is not very helpful.  I've recently 
joined a local photo club to try to get some of this critical 
criticism.  The first talk this Winter is "How to Critique" which is 
very important.  Saying something is lovely or sucks is not helpful.
