Thanks Tina. I think she did feel?better after taking the sea sickness pill. 
The exercise sounds reasonable as the doctor said there was a little "ball" 
that rolls around in the inner ear related to balance/orientation. Sometimes 
after a head cold or ear infection, this "ball" can become "sticky". So the 
exercise you describe may help?clean the "ball".
I think it's like being sea sick all the time. Last night was the first 
night she was able to eat and drink since Sunday, so we were very?happy?(as 
was she) about that.

I had vertigo several years ago.? My doctor suggested an exercise that cured
it.? I had to lie on the bed with my head hanging off the side and sit up
quickly.? Of course, the room would spin around like crazy, but several days
of doing that and the vertigo was gone.? I think it had something to do with
the bones in my inner ear?

It's a miserable feeling.? I hope your daughter is better.
