be, back in the day, you had to issue a command to park the heads on hard
drives. Now they do it upon shutdown.
I just put it in the case it came in and put it in my backpack. I only bring
it home from the office every couple of weeks or so or if I've got some
images that I really don't want to lose.
So I don't worry about it too much as long as you're not throwing it
around...

You are correct, thx. My friend Bob Baron suggested that today also.
It is a small PITA, but I think I will take that last external drive to
the office and transport it back and forth. I wonder if there are any
issues in carrying it around - maybe bubble wrap in my briefcase?
