[Leica] Panorama experiment with M8 and 28mm lens

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to go up to a large beech wood where 
the bluebells always put on a fabulous show.
It's always hard to do justice to them.  This time, however, I thought 
I'd try a panorama.  Tricky, when your tripod has a ball and socket head 
attached, but with some care and a hotshoe-mounted spirit level, I 
managed it.
I used my M8 with 28mm Elmarit lens, set the exposure to manual and 
prayed that the light wouldn't change...

The stitch was done using Hugin Panaorama Tools, an open-source 
application available from (IIRC) Sourceforge.  I'm running it on a 
Linux machine, but I think versions are available for Mac and PC.
The finished panorama is 8972 x 2533 pixels and the 16-bit tiff is 
200Mbytes! It would easily print up to 30 inches wide or more.  I 
printed it on A2 paper and I am very pleased with the outcome.

The Jpeg is 2.2Mbytes, so if you have a slow connection, it may take a 
while to load.
