It seems, at times, people cannot truly see reality because their preconceived beliefs filter their perception. In this case it does not look like a "straight" [photograph] picture to me. It looks like a professionally designed magazine cover, complete with typography, nameplate, etc. The creators obviously intend for the words and graphics to interact with each other in a very compelling manner. In order for it to look like a "straight" photograph you'd have to psychologically erase its own "reality" as a magazine cover; make the typography and nameplate invisible in your mind.
