I used the coupon to register LR2 and then got LR3 for the upgrade price $99.

It was a nightmare registering the license key due to some form of conflict 
with LR3 beta. I spent hours on the phone with 3 different support techs 
from Adobe who finally managed to get my key to work but also disabled all 
of my other Adobe software.
