It is now 2010. And yes we have a couple of guys here who are continuing to get the great results they are used to with it, fine. But digital year 2005 is the salamanders are crawling out of the algae and realizing they can breath on dry land. Other digital salamanders crawling on to the beach that year was the Nikon D2Hs;. Widely used and fully forgotten now. A fast and great camera for then. The Canon EOS 350D came out. They sell them in paper stores now for the ends of shelves. The Pentax *ist DL But it was the year the first Canon EOS 5D, full-frame 12.8 megapixel was announced and came out profoundly changing the digital landscape as full frame digital then became marketable and doable and affordable. The beginning and quick end of cropped formats for serious photography. But the Canon EOS-1D Mark II N came out for pros. 8.2 megapixels. 4 grand. APS-H. You can probably get one used for 20 bucks now. That's the money they pay YOU for getting it out of the building. The Nikon D200 came out in November of 2005. The wonderful two ton DX clunker I'm using now. And could sell for 20 bucks. -------------------- Mark William Rabiner Photography mark at rabinergroup.com > From: Geoff Hopkinson <hopsternew at gmail.com> > Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Date: Fri, 6 Aug 2010 07:09:17 +1000 > To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Subject: Re: [Leica] What are the rumours around Leica and Photokina?
