Subject: [Leica] IMG: Two More Insects

It is a crop factor of 2, 10MP.

As an afterthought, the texture of the Rose of Sharon petals gives a dull, 
dusty appearance, and that is where you are seeing the grainy look, so that 
probably contributes to what you observed.
