Relatively high ISO 400 for maximum shutter speed and f:stop and stalking as needed. This particular fellow (the damselflies keep their wings parallel to their bodies) certainly flitted around as you'd naturally expect; probably sat at 6 different locations within the minute before he flew away altogether. He seemed glued to the plant when first spotted but of course I didn't have a camera. I watched him for nearly a minute before I went in the house for the camera. When I came out he was still there. As soon as I began to frame the first shot of course he was gone - before I could even get a shot off.
