The brocade is larger, especially below the painting where there is a metaphysical square door signifying entry into the world of the thangka. All the paintings were shot at the same distance so the measurements may be calculated by viewing the html source and multiplying the slice count by .2 For example, from the source: cursor_pos(this,event,128,170,'slices/wheel_of_life/thangka_') .2 x 128 = 25.6 170 x .2 = 34 John George Lottermoser wrote: > simply incredible. > > How large are these works? > > Regards, > George Lottermoser > george at imagist.com > http://www.imagist.com > http://www.imagist.com/blog > http://www.linkedin.com/in/imagist > > > > > > On Sep 7, 2010, at 9:56 PM, John Nebel wrote: > >> http://thangkas.csd.net/wheel_of_life.html >> >> clickable for detail >> >> c&c welcome >> >> John Nebel >> >> _______________________________________________ >> Leica Users Group. >> See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information > > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
