  fascinating, thanks for the link.  i don't think the camera is a 
rangefinder per se, but does have an optical viewfinder which can 
superimpose readout data sort of like a HUD.

the sensor is about the same size as the X1 and the fixed lens is a stop 
faster.  according to my math, it should have a DOF similar to that of a 
Contax T3 (35mm/f2.8)--something like 12 inches at 5 feet.

the viewfinder seems fascinating, they figured out how to project more 
than framelines into an optical viewfinder (which is something i'd long 
thought would be interesting)

my first personal (as opposed to family) digital camera was a fuji, and 
it was quite a nice camera for its time, so this might be worth a look.
