I appreciate Nathan's suggestion that I could have got closer; I will say I was trying for scene-establishing without disturbing the entrants (I know what its like showing dogs although I've never shown a goat before). Maybe even tighter crops will help. I've been through this year's Fair shots a couple of times in LightRoom and am struggling with them more than I seemed to have in past years (this was the fourth annual OKCLUG State Fair Photo Shoot & Corn Dog Tasting event).
