Fascinating;  and now that you've put that phrase out there, I kind of see 
what you mean.

I won't ask whether you think it's a good thing or a bad thing.

It's enough for it to be a thing.

Ambiguity isn't bad.

Unless you're trying to sell a screenplay in the US.
