So I bought a Canon 580EX flash and diffusers for my Canon DLSR's - everything is automatic so no technical interruptions. So far, it doesn't work. I go to manual, adjust the flash power and check the histogram. I use it once a year for a few portraits at my church, robbing a pro of some paltry income. It wouldn't work for 99% of the things I do, and that's with a camera where I can dial up 6400 with no issues.
