Which camera body? 2. Which focusing screen? 3. Modifications necessary if any? 4. Miscellaneous and pertinent info? Hi Wayne, As most on the LUG know I have settled on changing my R lenses' bayonets to Nikon and use my R lenses on my D700. I arrived at this combination by a long road, having started with Canon - various bodies including a 5D and a 1dMkII - and then Olympus, the 300 series and then the E3. I like the Nikon because I get focus confirmation up to f5.6 without chips in the bayonets, and it is full frame, with great high ISO performance, and a linear exposure program so exposures remain correct as you shut down - unlike the Canon. Sample photos are here: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/R+lenses+on+Nikon+D700/ Other examples (the 400 telyt) are in the tiger photo folders. My 2 cents Howard
