I frequently use hyperfocal focusing with them. From 50mm upward, the E-1 focuses nicely. I have not found a balance problem using the R lenses on the heavier E-1, but they can be a little heavy on the E-510. However, when I examine the results I get, I can't find a better buy to allow me to use fine lenses on a good DSLR.
