Photokina first: Even on the next to last day when we attended, the place was packed. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/rtaylor/PICKS/2010_lhsa/P1020327.jpg.html or http://tinyurl.com/346xzxz M9 Titanium - the internally illuminated frame lines glow red, like LEDs. The finger grip worked surprisingly well, too, but I don't think it would be comfortable to hold the camera that way for a whole afternoon, say. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/rtaylor/PICKS/2010_lhsa/P1020338.jpg.html or http://tinyurl.com/346zpqv Fuji X100 - Cool little camera. I've commented before on the dual optical/EVF finder. Let's hope the image quality lives up to the advance hype. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/rtaylor/PICKS/2010_lhsa/P1020415.jpg.html or http://tinyurl.com/2wst53e Panasonic Exhibit - it may have been even bigger than Canon's which was itself gigantic. Panasonic was really pushing the Lumix brand, had 3D HD video on exhibit, and more cameras than I could count. I did get a look at the new 14mm pancake. It's thinner than the 20mm pancake and the few images I was able to take with it look pretty good wide open. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/rtaylor/PICKS/2010_lhsa/P1020353.jpg.html or http://tinyurl.com/26q7s2a LHSA Waiting for the bus at the Wetzlarer Hof. This is a pano from five GF-1 shots with the 20mm lens. I left it fairly large so you can scan the crowd for familiar faces if you wish. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/rtaylor/PICKS/2010_lhsa/P1020498-Edit.jpg.html or http://tinyurl.com/2a364tr I'll let you browse through the remaining shots. They were taken at Solms, Hessepark and at the wine tasting with a mix of cameras and ISO settings, M9 w/50 Summilux; GF-1 w/20mm pancake; G-1 w/35mm Summicron. The EXIF data should sort out which is which. Sorry I didn't get everyone's name. Do let me know if I messed up on anyone, too. Thanks. C&C always welcome. Regards, Dick
