The M9 is the latest perfect digital Leica. The DMR is a compromise that you will use if you want to continue to use your R lenses. If most of your photos are macro or tele, you might seriously consider the DRM, if not and you don't already have an M9, get the M9. I almost bought a second M9 instead of the DMR, but the seller changed his mind.
