If I were a vendor at a trade show, and paying thousands for a booth, I'd want a qualified audience of pros or store owners coming in, rather than people who are thinking about getting a camera for their vacation trip. If they vendors aren't happy, they stop investing in the trouble of creating a trade booth and there is no show.
