Subject: [Leica] Canon non-linear metering

There was an article some years back comparing the DMR with a 1Ds MkII, and 
a Olympus E system camera.  The Tester was a Large Format guy and he found 
the DMR to be the equal of the 1Ds MKII.  The Olympus was not even close to 
the other two.  I forget which magazine it was though.

Interesting.  I wonder what causes this.  Does it happen on full frame 
Canon's too?  What about other brands of lenses used with stop-down 
metering?

Also, what metering mode are you using?  Evaluative?
