Versalab.com claims their sales of the washers are up. In the last few months, I have sold - LS-8000 scanner (bought an LS-9000) - Darkroom contrast masking kit - tons of darkroom print paper - a 11x14 washer (got a 16x20") - a 20x24" easel (doing contact print) They all go in a matter of days. re: scanners, I think the high low end, e.g. the LS-5000, Scan Elite II etc. are going up in prices, to somewhat ridiculous levels if you ask me. Whereas the high but south of Imacon ends are dropping in prices a bit. I think the best bargain right now are the LS-8000 and LS-9000 if you scan medium format.
