Can you tell us some of the details, > such as exposure, camera on an equatorial mount and such? 20D, 24-70L, 0.8 seconds f2.8, EI 3200. Camera lying on the roof of a (nonrunning) `93 4runner, fired by self-timer. About as informal as it gets. Minor curve tweaks in PS and a casual run through NeatImage, which basically smoothed the cloud tones but didn't do much else that I can see. (I forgot I had a tripod in the back of the truck, but the light on the clouds caught my eye. I think that's basically light pollution from I-45 between Conroe and Houston, TX - which entire 40-or-so mile stretch is one long continuous strip mall hell, and quite a disgusting place to drive.)
