Subject: [Leica] M7 shutter speed problem

New batteries did not fix my M7.  The warranty on it was 6 months, and  
I bought is 6 months, 2 weeks ago.  The shop didn't budge.  In Japan a  
Leica overhaul is too expensive (just to have it looked at), and  
sending it abroad is too pricey because of a new customs law that  
charges tax on any imported/reimported item as if it were a brand new  
sale.

I'm a bit sad, as this means I might have to keep my M7 in limbo for  
ages.

Still, it's a good thing to be ever so slightly disappointed compared  
to other let-downs in life.
