Mounted old 500mm Maksutov catadioptric lens on camera (T mount to Olympus OM mount to OM to 4/3 mount) giving he equivalent of a 1000mm lens on a 35mm frame. Test exposures perfect. Sat in comfortable chair with a glass of wine waiting for the eclipse. Clouds rolled in at midnight. Moon a fuzzy blob. Went to bed. No joy. Clouds rolled out at 6 a.m. Clear morning. Damn. Guess I'll have to wait another 97 years. Larry Z
