We had a rather tiring 350-odd mile drive on Tuesday to pick her up from the breeder in Northern England. Thankfully, the weather wasn't too bad. We had tried to go last Saturday, but the snow and ice meant discretion was the better part of valour and we abandoned the journey after just ten miles. The roads were pretty dirty and I wasn't expecting to use over a gallon of windscreen washer fluid. This was Nyla's first foray into the garden. I think using a DSLR was a good decision! Cold hands and rangefinder focusing would have been an interesting if fruitless combination in this situation! So without further ado...5D mk 2, 24-105mm lens. http://www.monomagic.co.uk/gallery.php?gallery=paw/2010&image=2010-week48-1.jpg I hope you enjoy it and it may bring a smile to those of you who have recently lost dogs. It's going to be an interesting Christmas in the Pope Household. They do say that a dog isn't just for Christmas. With a bit of luck, there should be leftovers for boxing day :-) I wish everyone on the LUG, PAW and CVUG groups a very happy Christmas and a prosperous new year.
