Smaller does not appeal to me.

For the apps I use: project management; maps; news and magazine readers; 
video; web browsers; email and lug image viewing; photo, drawing and art 
production, and presentation; the iPad is just barely big enough; while its 
portability remains quite comfortable.
Though I also enjoy it as a book reader I still prefer paper books,

As always - mileage varies.
