At least in my >> opinion.<<< Hi Phil, Along your line of thought. Not that I'm putting my photography at the position of those greats mentioned. But I'm trying to make a point about remembering a photograph that keeps it in the memory banks of a Nation, in my case. My photograph of Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau sliding down a banister railing, arms held on high in 1968 is probably my most "famous photograph." Whatever that constitutes! :-) And I'm the only photographer who shot it! Ask any middle age or seniors do they remember the picture of "Trudeau sliding down the rail?" And chances are most will say "YES!" However they wont have a clue who the photographer was who took the picture! That's life! :-) But the photos that stay with us usually become the famous ones in our general mind set. Eddie Adams, in Saigon and the "police officer shooting the VC through the head!" Probably comes to mind when I'm asked about an incredible photograph? No point offering any others as the list is too long! cheers, Dr. ted :-)
