Sure, 30 years, 40 years. It matters not.

Last 10-20 years? Well, since most photogs shoot colors now, things may have
changed.

In fact, relating to what Steve is saying: visualize in your mind the iconic
color images.

Chances are you don't recall all the colors correctly. In fact, for me, I
probably do not recall all but one or two colors correctly.

But the image stays - if it is a powerful image.

Afghan Girl - her eyes are green. Her scarf? Not sure.
