It's funny because I sent Ric (offlist) some commentary on this former singer's current performance as a politician too! Ric has captured the energy and passion of his stage performance very well. That is what the photos are about of course. Just to stray a little (but photography related), one action for which he was responsible was to force the move of the sunrise viewing platform near Uluru (Ayer's Rock) for visitors to a new location. Literally hundreds of thousands of visitors have been to the original location but now it is meant to be more culturally acceptable. You can no longer actually see the sunrise on the monolithic rock for much of the year! Just don't get any landscape photographer started on the subject of that area. It formed part of a photographers' protest campaign here "I'm a photographer, not a criminal" Cheers Geoff http://www.pbase.com/hoppyman On 9 January 2011 00:12, Ric Carter <ricc at embarqmail.com> wrote: > life often sucks when opinion hits reality > > ric > > > On Jan 8, 2011, at 7:37 AM, Marty Deveney wrote: > > > He has repealed many of his former > > strongly held views and is widely regarded as a sell-out. > > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information >
