Seal would likely need one.  I prefer the aluminum as I need to drill a
little hole to tether it to the camera as they seem to get lost after a day
or two.  I also lost one of those HK magnifiers after 2 hours.  Lens
caps..well it's inevitable with two kids a stroller and a Leica slung over
your shoulder.
