Montie, I process my photographs a bit crisp - it is required and tends to work better that way when I print. The problem is I do not sharpen specifically for the net, and sometimes the jpg conversion and the site adjustments (especially on commercial sites like Flickr) get a bit out of hand! Philippe, No they are both the Nikon versions, first generation autofocus, I have had them since the early 1990s - very good lenses indeed except that autofocus is a bit slow by today's standards. They are an unbelievably good bang for the buck even now - they cost around US$350 each. The only Leica R lens I had Leitaxed is the 100 mm APO-Macro-Elmarit. I believe that Nikon lenses are more than good enough for me, and I actually like autofocus and VR and all that jazz. I got the 100mm done mainly because it is a sensational lens, and autofocus is really not much use for macro.
