Nathan:  I think what you're seeing is a reflection of the glass windows
on the door at upper right. Notice that there is a similar pattern of
stripes there.

The IR filter is probably catching a reflection of the door and projecting
a faint image of it "cattycorners" to the original.

Whenever I see something I don't understand, I always look in the opposite
corner for a light source in the picture.
