Some years ago, the white pines I had planted beneath the power line grew too tall, so the power company removed them and offered suitable replacements. Among those recommended as suitable for the area were these hollies. The tops have now reached the lower wire (neutral). The local birds love them, and most of the berries are gone. They make a nice screen between us and our backyard neighbor. But, I keep worrying that the power company may keep eyeing them.
