This one brought back memories: http://www.chriscrawfordphoto.com/fine_art/portfolio/marys-bar/photopages/bank-deal.php Long ago, my grandmother, God rest her soul, owned a popular rural bar. In junior high and high school I was pressed into service to tend bar, clean the shuffleboard, cook the hard-boiled eggs etc. Being under age didn't seem to be an issue since the sheriff was a regular. As was the game warden, who would always take me out before the season opened for some great dove shooting. About 2a.m. the old guys would be talking about Jesus and how much they missed their mothers. Apropos your photo, however, there was a sign on the wall: "Our credit manager is Helen Waite. If you want credit, go to Helen Waite." I also have a small portfolio on New Mexico, which I am now inspired to work on/add to: http://www.kencarney.com/New_Mexico/index.html Best, Ken Carney
