That was meaningful to me. Shooting Kodachrome meant I might not be "tested out" as well as I'd like to be. But with E6 or E4 I had results right in front of me as to how it was going to come out as I took the real pictures. Often the lights were not moved in between time. But I had no problem making my clients wait two days for Kodachrome. Not once did they ever say no. And I never showed anybody anything two hours later if it was E6. As I had to spend time editing and sorting first anyway. It would always be "next day". -------------------- Mark William Rabiner Photography http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/lugalrabs/ mark at rabinergroup.com Cars: http://tinyurl.com/2f7ptxb > From: bill pearce <billcpearce at cox.net> > Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Date: Thu, 10 Feb 2011 16:28:16 -0600 > To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Subject: Re: [Leica] When did Kodachrome really die? > > The great thing about E6 is that if you have a great pro lab nearby that > does some volume and uses the right machinery, they have a well-regulated > system that gives consistent results.
