My favorites are #3, 5, 6. Thanks for sharing these historical shots Saludos Lluis El 15/02/2011, a las 20:07, Alan Magayne-Roshak escribi?: > I've long wanted to scan these, and finally got around to it. > > My friend Tom and I drove to Chicago in 1968 (I think August) to > visit the big camera stores, and while there noticed activity on > the south end of LaSalle Street: > <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Alan+Magayne-Roshak/The+Sixties/Nixon_1_AMR.jpg.html > > > > <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Alan+Magayne-Roshak/The+Sixties/Nixon_2_AMR.jpg.html > > > > <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Alan+Magayne-Roshak/The+Sixties/Nixon_3_AMR.jpg.html > > > > > Turned out to be Richard Nixon's presidential election campaign > parade: > <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Alan+Magayne-Roshak/The+Sixties/Nixon_4_AMR.jpg.html > > > > <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Alan+Magayne-Roshak/The+Sixties/Nixon_5_AMR.jpg.html > > > > > Looking behind me, I took my favorite shot of the bunch: > <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Alan+Magayne-Roshak/The+Sixties/Nixon_6_AMR.jpg.html > > > > > I hope these might be interesting to view. > > Alan > > Alan Magayne-Roshak, Senior Photographer > UPAA POY 1978 > University Information Technology Services > University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee > http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Alan+Magayne-Roshak/ > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
