Here in Spain we have pet shops with cute puppies in cages--I am sure they are treated well, they represent a major investment for the shop after all--but with all the animals in shelters waiting to be adopted I find the trade immoral. Cheeta (adopted from a shelter in Zurich almost 10 years ago) agrees. She is napping in her bed on the floor of my room as I write this.
